People, This is real Nugbanton!!!!! What is wrong with putting his family around him? I think this is the most Ugandan successful president ever. Uganda has been a home to every Ugandan and some foreigners. I don't think any body has the right to insult our head of state, please be reasonable, If any of you is capable, throw in your candidature Wacha longo longo, get some life. Museveni rules, We have seen those who once tried to lead us, like Obote, Amini, Binayiisa, Tito, Museveni is incomparable, Mpaka nga waliwo ayesiimbyewo natulaga kyalinawo otherwise, ejo MidomoTwakoowa!!! - Nzamu

I have read this article and some of the responses. All i can say is God is watching us. If what the president has done is wrong he will judge him accordingly. But for the ones who insulted him that is absurd style up and let us appreciate the peace we have. At least we can start up a business and earn some money because the enviroment is conducive. Let us not be bothered by what others have because we are all destined for one thing the grave. And no matter what you have or do not have you are buried with nothing. You can only sleep in one bed, move in one car, eat, s**t and sleep. But if money can change all that some one should let me know. To God we hand the greedy and the rest of us should work towards the development of our country. We are one and all Ugandans. Stay blessed. - Anne Elizabeth

Am surprised by this article and i have come to doubt mwenda's jounalistic and proffesional ethics.
First of all state house is a mult-tribal dominated organization.
There are people who spaeke Luo,Luganda,Iteso and etc so why do you only pick a few individuals of the same language and you leave out the Obinas and Kazibwes?
I think the article is intended to divide and confuse peaceful Ugandans.
Pliz stop ugandans know what they want.

Its really sad to hear Africans talking like this. Criticize the government, but please stay away from all the "nose shape" and other ethnic talk. We are all Africans. How can Ugandans talk like Nazis? Are you people that desperate. I am not from Uganda, but I really enjoy reading African newspapers. I came across this article and I could not believe what I read in the comments. Can anyone tell me one African country where one family is not calling all the shots. The Khama family in Botswana, the Kabila clan in Congo, the Mugabe clan in Zimbabwe. How is Uganda any different. We in Africa have to unify because we all have the same problems. However, we can't be united with all this Nazi talk about nose shapes and body forms. - thisis

The most annoying thing about this is that all these chaps are hooking into the consolidated fund for more perks whether its business deals or government privileges of chauffeured cars and fat allowances traveling abroad.

Imagine 3 jobs for the wife then throw in the babies too. Kagina should be ashamed of hounding Ugandans to pay their taxes while this shameless cabal feasts on our sweat. Sacrifice indeed.

Yoweri Museveni, beware the trappings of power that makes you begin to take Ugandans for granted. Take the opportunity now and salvage the little credibility left for you like Moi did. Otherwise it will be too late for your family. Do not wait for a Bastille kind of situation for you to accept things are not fine.

Oh Uganda May God Uphold thee. - Boiti

I have read all the above e-threads with utter amusement. People seem to be annoyed with the arrangement of things. Come to think about it; Among all of you who are not that happy who can cook and serve every one else before they themselves eat. This is how nature puts the arrangement of things and i would be very surprised to see them happening otherwise at statehouse. None of you speaking would make the head of house holds at state house a stranger. I would not like reminding you what happened to President Obote (RIP) when his Government was taken over by his own Army commander. His Excellency President Museveni is too smart for such things. Why is Janet in charge of karamajong affairs when she don't even speak a single word of Kijong?

Why do all the sate scholarships for education go the the above's children why ?

Why is 20 out the 30 percent of the oil profit going to uganda going to mus ?

Why do they own almost every single building in uganda secretly if the earned it ?

Why does Mus close CBS is it besause he saw how tired people are ?

Why are his tribes men leaders in districts like gulu and so on ?

and lastly

God bless our country. What has happened to the 28 million Ugandans out there, do they not qualify to be Presidential aides or have their businesses winning lucrative tenders with govt. This is absolute nepotism and no apologies have been made for that nor can we expect it until the House of Kaine crumbles under its weight. It will come to pass - Vincent

Fellow countrymen two wrongs dont make a right....... it just sounds more like hatred campaigns. That wont get us food, quality education for our kids, drugs in hospitals, roads or a fair justice system. Who needs a home-grown media when they are so detatched from reality, as if they are siblings to BBC, CNN, SUN etc!!!! - SKJ

4) Does your tree branch out to parliament? And if yes, is it by design that such a branch would extend to local council executive? 5) Is it treu that you made a call to the one and only big house to have your Kololo road fixed!!!! and this was done on a day's deployment. The kind of reaction that works only for CHOGM. Cant you really make that one call for our potholes or you havent seen them? 6) Lets save the Muhozi connection because it would explain the roots of The independent, or was its start up a Loan financed investment?
Now lets start with you Mwenda. have you ever hired a member of your tree to Monitor while they held no qualification, not even UACE? 2) If one was a member of your tree, qualified as a lawyer, would you hire them as a journalist for the Independent? Why not serve the country you so dearly love as a learned fella --- helping to consolidate mwenda share of the cake, right? Rest assured bro it wont grow overnight! 3) Has anyone been offered student residence out of the norm just because they are on your tree? - Mwenda Family Tree
