Kampala, Uganda | THE INDEPENDENT | Lawyer Isaac Ssemakadde is the new Uganda Law Society (ULS) President, according to preliminary results from elections held in Munyonyo on Saturday afternoon. The race was between Ssemakadde and Isaac Atukunda,
Ssemakadde reportedly won all the polling stations, getting 3,021 votes against Atukunda’s 2,101 votes.
The learned people have elected from among themselves , one of them as their President . I think this has been one of the most free and fair elections of the @ug_lawsociety .

He is a representstion of the anger that we have 2wards the deliberate contradictions, occasioned by the Executive & its tolersnce of grand corruption (including of Secretaries) that is choking us.
