What is your greatest fear?
Death, especially of people who are close to me.
What is the trait you most deplore in yourself?
I am a loner; at times I have social groups like on WhatsApp but I stop at only reading without commenting. I can also drive my car, find a good shade, park and relax.
What is the trait you most deplore in others?
Stealing and raping; I avoid associating with such characters.
Which living person do you most admire?
There is a man called Owek. Dennis Walusimbi – the Minister for culture, heritage, Royal tombs and tourism in Buganda Kingdom. He is an accomplished rich man, staunch catholic, always smart but remains humble. I admire everything up and about him. Gaster Lule Ntake is another one; he is a hardworking family man who inspires me to work harder each new day. These two gentlemen can spare sometime and discuss important issues with someone like me.
What is your greatest extravagance?
Apart from things on my car, I find joy in making a friend around me happy.
What is the greatest thing you have ever done?
Having a house of my own; when I look back at the kind of house I was raised in and the one I built for myself, it is surely a great thing.
What is your current state of mind?
I am tensed a bit; there are some projects that I had planned to be complete by the end of this year but they are still pending.
What do you consider the most overrated virtue?
People waste too much time on politics rather than on constructive things.
What does being powerful mean to you?
Having wealth; with it, someone can have almost everything.
On what occasion do you lie?
There are quite many; for instance if the actual truth will cause more damage or if the intention is to save a life.
What do you most dislike about your appearance?
My height and size; I met some Nigerians in UK who were extremely tall with huge mass which made me believe that I am short and thin.
Which living person do you most despise?
Not a particular person but I hate people who have no focus in life.
What is the quality you most like in a man?
It’s about how he relates with others on top of loving and helping them.
What is the quality you most like in a woman?
Self respect and loving.
Which words or phrases do you most overuse?
‘Keep pushing’ or ‘push on’.
What or who is the greatest love of your life?
All of my children because it is me who brought them to this world and it is upon me to pave a way for their future.
When and where were you happiest?
In 1999, I went for an audition while still pursuing my diploma at Makerere. During the same time, I was given an ultimatum of one month to vacate the rented house for failure to pay rent but it was this particular moment that saved me. After a failed attempt, I was given a second chance which rendered me the best person for the job. It restored my hope in life.
Which talent would you most like to have?
Standup comedy; it is something one can do at any age.
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
I wish I could be a social person.
What do you consider your greatest achievement?
Friends; I have made so many friends courtesy of acting. I can’t quantify and measure what they have done for me.
If you were to die and come back as a person or a thing, what would it be?
A priest to serve God the more.
Where would you most like to live?
Switzerland is a very peaceful place.
What is your most treasured possession?
Nothing has more worth than talent.
What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?
There are some people who go through a lot of pain and are bed-ridden for years. There are also people who are jailed for cases they didn’t commit. Such situations are beyond comprehension.
What is your favorite occupation?
Being a radio personality.
What do you most value in your friends?
Being good people who respect others and are respected in society.
Who are your favorite writers?
I am not a good reader
Which historical figure do you most identify with?
I like the man in Lucky Dube. He was famous but down to earth.
Who are your heroes in real life?
My parents, Nelson Mandela who took many years struggling but only enjoyed the fruits for five years. Not many human beings can do that.
What is your greatest regret?
Meandering in my studies; I wish I had taken on drama from the beginning.
How would you like to die?
Not any time soon and in a gradual and silent way.
What is your motto?
If you are born poor, the blame is on your parents but if you die poor, the blame is on you.
