Kampala, Uganda | GODFREY SSALI | The proprietor of Safe Script Pharmaceuticals Ltd has sued National Drug Authority (NDA) accusing it of declaring her Hepatitis B vaccinating drug as counterfeit, yet it was inspected and verified by the same officials upon importation.
Agnes Nabulwala has filed the case in the Kampala High Court.
She says that she secured a 10ml -multi-dose drug for Hepatitis B vaccination, that was in line with the Ministry of Health initiative campaign to immunize Ugandans against this viral disease.
Nabulwala argues that she has been suppling and widely administering the drug to various schools, communities and groups of people, until NDA held a press conference and without any authentic proof , declared their drug as counterfeit.
That since then , many of their clients have been back lashing at their business premises in Ntinda trading center, demanding a refund of their money on grounds that they were immunized with a fake drug.
Nabulwala now wants court to declare that her drug from India is genuine and conforms to the required DNA regulations.
She also wants court to set aside NDA’s decision to halt the vaccination of Hepatitis B because many people were left with the third last dosage to be taken in May 2018.

NDA is full of moles who are interested in bribes.e.g.how can u tell a Uganda dt no opening of a pharmacy in his country.this is beyond the constitution..
they know how to drive good vehicles nd get huge bribes from asians.
they inspected the drugs themselves nd now say they are fake.
they need to be advised.am happy wz what the parliamentary committee directed them to remove the fake order of stopping opening of pharmacies.
