NBS: Opposition strongman Dr Kiiza Besigye has spoken out about Wednesday’s besieging of Makindye Magistrates Court – asking police chief Gen Kale Kayihura to step aside and pave way for investigations for setting what he calls a dangerous precedent in law enforcement. Speaking to the media at his home in Kasangati, Dr Besigye also revealed that he avoided going to court after individuals within the state security machinery alerted him about a plan to harm him.
