Kizza Besigye flew back from London on Monday but was immediately whisked away by Ugandan security personnel, Forum For Democratic Change (FDC) officials said.
The officials, who had gathered at Entebbe Airpot to receive the former presidential candidate, did not know his whereabouts for an hour, before it emerged Besigye had been driven straight to his home in Kasangati.
