Jinja, Uganda | THE INDEPENDENT | BUL FC is optimistic of defeating NEC FC in the Uganda Cup semi-finals on Sunday.   BUL will be hosting the first leg at the Njeru-based FUFA technical center.

They lost their Uganda Premier league-UPL game against NEC FC early in the week, however, their assistant coach, James Magala says that this encounter provided them with enough room to study their opponents’ tactics.

BUL FC had their debut win of the Uganda Cup trophy during the 2021/2022 season and Magala is hopeful that, with proper planning, the team stands a better chance of riding on this past glory to win the trophy.

Joseph Musoke, a sports analyst in Jinja City says that BUL has exhibited resilience throughout this season, with the biggest portion of their squad raising optimism.

Musoke however, says that pressure may arise and compromise the focus at this stage of the season since they are injecting excessive energies to contend for the two major titles of Uganda Cup and UPL in a row.

Musoke notes that, this is the time when the boys require frequent build-up talks to aggressively believe in their joint capabilities to win all that football has to offer without refrain.
