Joseph Mayanja aka Jose Chameleone has hailed Ugandan artist Andrew Ainamani ‘Prince Andrew’ after he released his latest work, a portrait of the Chameleon family.
The portrait includes wife Daniella and children Amma Christian Mayanja, Alfa Joseph Mayanja, Abba Marcus Mayanja and Alba Shyne Mayanja.
“Every man is gifted differently! That special gift we call talent. This week I met a young man greatly gifted. I believed in his outstanding ability,” said Chameleone in a facebook post Tuesday morning.
Chameleone, one of Uganda’s top AfroBeat artistes and most versatile musicians, was all praise of the art piece posted by Prince Andrew. “My brother Prince Andrew. You are a Genius! This pencil work is incredible, I rate you 200%.”
Musician Chameleone’s comment on the beautiful family portraits came hours before reports in the media that indicate that his wife Daniella Atim has filed for divorce. She reportedly filed it Tuesday afternoon.
She filed a petition number 72 of 2017, on April 18, 2017 at Nakawa court and Chameleone is to respond in 15 days, The New Vision reported later.
The media reports indicating all was not well in the Chameleone family started early this month, but 10 days ago, the artiste posted a video in which he welcomed Daniella home with a flower bouquet. (see below)
Prince Andrew, as he calls himself on social media, is a fine art teacher at Tr.Namirembe Hilside, has produced several art works of some of Uganda’s top musicians, and leading citizens in the country and abroad.
