Kampala, Uganda | THE INDEPENDENT | Famous Ugandan comedy duo, Madrat and Chiko, celebrated their 10th anniversary with an electrifying Uganda Waragi-sponsored show at the Sheraton Kampala Hotel on the eve of Uganda’s Independence Day.
The show marked with a stunning fireworks entrance, left revelers thrilled and eager for more as the duo delivered crack joke after joke that kept the audience entertained throughout the night.
The fun didn’t stop there, as performances by fellow comedians Daniel Omara, Uncle Mo, and Uncle Mark, alongside musical acts from Meseach Ssemakula, Mikie Wine, Lydia Jazmine, Grenade Official, and Ziza Bafana, left the audience craving more.
Revelers were also treated to a variety of cocktails at the Uganda Waragi experience booth adding to the celebratory atmosphere.
Some of the high-profile guests that came out for the show were the Deputy Speaker of Parliament Hon. Thomas Tayebwa, Hon. Minister Phiona Nyamutoro, and Hon. Muhammad Nsereko, who all appreciated the duo’s presence and contribution to the Ugandan comedy scene over the past decade.
Madrat and Chiko expressed their heartfelt gratitude to all the people who came to support them not forgetting Uganda Waragi for their unwavering support over the years. They thanked all the fans who stood by them on their journey to becoming one of Uganda’s top comedy acts.

Madrat and Chiko also announced their upcoming subsequent shows, in Masaka at Maria Flo on October 19th, and at Adit Mall in Mbarara later this month.
