Major General Levi Karuhanga, the Uganda Military Court Martial Chairman is dead. Congestive heart failure is believed to be the cause of his death. The court martial boss passed on days after he’d returned from an Indian Hospital. He had been rushed to India in a critical condition with stomach complications and other illnesses.
Maj. Gen. Karuhanga was appointed Court Martial chief in June 2014 replacing Brig. Moses Ddiba. He was aged 60 years at the time of his death. Born in Bushenyi district, he joined the NRM bush war in 1981 as the 57th recruit. He was also the first commander of AMISOM in Somalia.

My God this is so sad rest in peace Major.
I have lost a good, outstanding villagemate (our village cuts across two counties – Igara; his, and Sheema; mine). Those who interacted with the man will concede that Levi was the truest officer and gentleman.
So sorry for the loss Levi,RIP
