Kampala, Uganda | THE INDEPENDENT | At the Uganda Securities Exchange 20th anniversary celebrations that took place in Kampala recently, brokerage firm, Crested Capital was awarded the “Broker of the Year”. This meant it was the overall best broker in 2017 for key performance indicators of turnover, deals and volumes contributed to the USE market, the company said in a notice dated April 06.
It also took home the “Client Origination Award” for the broker who raised the most brand awareness for the Exchange and the capital markets as in general, facilitated new entries into the market, improved market share and enhanced customer loyalty.
The award takes into consideration different methods to increase its relations with investors such as use of social media, breakfasts, reports and updates and more. The company’s Chief Executive Officer, Robert Baldwin promised to do more for the capital market to improve performance.
