Kampala, Uganda  | THE INDEPENDENT |  A 10-day hunt for armed thugs that killed one Henry Rubinga, during a mobile money robbery in Mityana District, has come to an end after seven of the suspects were arrested over the weekend.

Under the command of Assistant Commissioner of Police Thomas Kasimo, crime intelligence launched a hunt for Rubinga’s killers on February 29, a day after thugs raided Nakiwaya village, Kikandwa Parish, in Mityana District in an attack that claimed one life and injured three others.

The injured include Arinaitwe Innocent, Hamza Ssuuna and Kalema Bumbakali, who are nursing injuries at Mityana Hospital.  The Crime intelligence team has since arrested seven suspects from their hideouts in the districts of Gomba, Mityana and Nakaseke.
