Kampala, Uganda | THE INDEPENDENT | Ethiopia’s national carrier, Ethiopian Airlines, has announced plans to have daily flights between Addis Ababa and Mogadishu starting Dec.01, less than two weeks since the carrier re-launched flights on the route.
Presently, Ethiopian Airlines operates three weekly flights. Seeing neighbours Kenya Airways also jump on the bandwagon a few days ago with Mogadishu flights has Ethiopian promptly upped the ante with the announcement of daily flights via their hub in Addis Ababa.
Meanwhile has Ethiopian also taken delivery of the 4th of 26 on order Boeing B737Max aircraft earlier this month, able to uplift 160 passengers in the dual cabin configuration of business and economy classes. The delivery has brought the Ethiopian Airlines fleet to now 105 operating aircraft.
