Kampala, Uganda | THE INDEPENDENT | The late businessman and rally ace Charles Muhangi suffered a heart attack. This is according to a postmortem released by the family.
Muhangi’s body was on Thursday found lying in his bed by his child around 7:30 am at his home in Lower Mawanga in Buziga in Makindye Division.
According to the deceased’s brother Elad Munanura, postmortem results indicate that Muhangi suffered a heart attack.
The postmortem was carried out by pathologists led by Police Director of Medical Services Moses Byaruhanga. Munanura also says that a family doctor, whom he declined to reveal his identities, was also part of the team.
However Munanura says that family members agreed that some samples of the body be taken to the Government Analytical Laboratory to carry out a toxicological analysis.
A police source who preferred anonymity says that some of the samples include stomach and the blood content.
