FDC party starts mobilization drive in West Nile

Kampala, Uganda | THE INDEPENDENT | The Forum for Democratic Change-FDC party has started a regional mobilization drive in West Nile ahead of the 2021 general elections.

While addressing the Media in Arua town on Monday, The FDC Party President Engineer Patrick Amuriat Oboi said their mission is to re-energize the people to realize their mission of bringing a change in the country.

According to Oboi, the team will embark on strategizing on filling vacant party positions in different parts of the Country.

Dr Kiiza Besigye, the former FDC President challenged the youth to join the struggle instead of leaving it to him and other members of the party. He also said that the people should be able to realize their agenda of fighting for their rights and also decide on the affairs of the country

Fungaroo Kaps Hassan, the MP Obongi and Shadow Minister for Defence says for that the people to realize their freedom, they have to make sacrifice and consistently demand for their rights and freedoms.

The FDC team was accompanied by the Women’s League chairperson Ingrid Turinawe and FDC Arua officials. They vowed to camp in Nebbi to oversee the District LCV chairperson polls on Thursday and later the Municipality Parliamentary by-elections next month.
