Ajuna said that he wants the position to be able to enhance mobilization and recruitment for FDC. His plan is for FDC to leverage technology to reach more supporters and register members. He also wants to ensure that the FDC has offices from the grassroots to enable them to effectively communicate from the center to the lower cadres as well as mobilize from the grassroots.

Ajuna also wants to use his position to have the party key documents and messages translated into local languages. He said that the FDC constitution, its manifesto, and other documents should be made available in local languages and in other formats that appeal to people with different abilities, for instance, those with visual challenges.

He believes that this way, the party FDC shall propagate its message further and attract more members.

Moses Okwera, former Councillor from Nakawa division in Kampala. Okwera who is contesting for the position of Secretary for Health said that his focus shall be put on the promotion of primary health care. He wants the FDC to partner with different health organizations and hold health camps where people can be sensitized about health issues and also offer health services.

He said if elected into office, he shall work to strengthen communication between the headquarters and lower structures to ensure proper coordination of the party activities and teamwork.

The FDC Delegates Conference will be held at the Patidar Samaj Sports Ground in Lugogo Kampala. However, another group of FDC based at Katonga is opposed to the conference and issued a contrary election roadmap which shall climax with a delegates conference in March 2024.
