Kampala, Uganda | THE INDEPENDENT | A hectic golf season comes to a close on Saturday as the Par 72 Kitante course hosts the Stanbic Bank Mug of Mugs. The grand finale has attracted close 200 golfers in what is expected to be a thriller for most club members.
“It’s a Grand finish to all our members and guests as it brings the curtain down to what has been an exciting golf season,” David Sekitoleko, the manager at the Club said in a statement.
“It’s a time to reward golfers,” he said. “There’s a business class ticket to Dubai and an all expenses paid trip for 2 to Kenya for the Sigona Bowl next month.”
The participants will also witness the crowning of the Order of Merit for both the Men and Ladies at the Club.
The 19th hole will be swayed by a live Jazz Orchestra together with lots of drinks, food, cocktails and a Fireworks display to crown the evening.
