The Kanyamunyus to spend the festive season in jail as their case is adjourned
Key suspects in the Lugogo shooting are to spend the festive season in jail after Nakawa Magistrate Court adjourned their case to January 3, 2017.
According to prosecution’s Racheal Nabwire, investigations into the matter are still incomplete.
Matthew Kanyamunyu, his girlfriend Cynthia Munywangari and his brother Joseph Kanyamunyu, appeared for the mention of their case before Grade One Magistrate Noah Ssajjabi, who remanded them back to Luzira until next year.
The trio are accused of murdering Social Worker Kenneth Akena Watmon on November, 12, on Kampala-Jinja highway near Malik car bond opposite Uganda Manufacturers Association in Nakawa Division.
