King’s College Budo takes golf trophy

Serwano Walusimbi and Kiryowa Kiwanuka celebrate Budo’s win

Entebbe, Uganda | PHILLIP CORRY | King’s College Budo, came, played and won the First Clash of Titans golf tournament at the par 71, Entebbe Club on Saturday.

Budo returned to the club house with a total 751 nett score to win a tournament established for Old Boys of some of the traditional schools of Uganda.

Busoga College Mwiri, was Runner Up with 757 while Namilyango College, was third with 773 nett. St Mary’s Kisubi, was fourth with 782.

Namilyango College, claimed the award of Best dressed school.

The tournament had teams lining up with a team of 20 players and the top 10 best scores counted for each side.

Dickson Agaba, was the best golfer in Group A with 73 nett on count back with Lino Anguzu, was Runner Up with 75
Group B was taken by Paul Habyarimana with 71 nett, Runner Up was Walter Tukahirwa with 72.

Group C was claimed by Philemon Akatuhurira 65 while Rodney Turyatemba finishing second in this category with 67 nett,

The Lady Guest winner was Rukia Nalwoga with 68 nett.

KTA Advocates, Radio City and DFCU Bank where sponsors of this first of the kind golf tournament.
