BUSES: Karuma Dam bridge closed

Gulu, Uganda | THE INDEPENDENT |  Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA) has determined that Karuma Bridge’s integrity is under threat, and have ordered limited traffic use on it.

It will be closed to all lorries, trailers, and buses said UNRA in a statement on Friday. Only passenger vehicles carrying up to 28 passengers will be permitted to use the bridge.

All lorries and trucks to Gulu, Lira , Kitgum , West Nile are advised to use the route through the Murchison Falls Park to Pakwach or Rwenkunye to cross over Masindi Port with the Ferry.
