Kampala, Uganda | GODFREY SSALI | Kampala City Hall Court has remanded a man for failure to pay food and drinks worth sh240,000 at a newly opened Kampala hotel, Skyz.
Brian Banya appeared before Grade One Magistrate Beatrice Kainza Wednesday and pleaded guilty to the offence of obtaining credit by fraud.
Prosecution says that on March 04, 2018 at Naguru in Kampala, Banya obtained credit of sh240,000 from Skyz Hotel, Kampala by means of fraud, after he ordered for food and drinks and failed to pay his bill.
He has been remanded to Luzira Prison until Friday March 09, 2018, where he will receive sentence.
