Kampala, Uganda | THE INDEPENDENT | The Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPA-U) on March 09 graduated308 in various courses including Accounting Technicians (AT-U) and Certified Tax Advisor (CTA).
ICPAU President, Protazio Begumisa (CPA)said during the graduation ceremony held at the Imperial Royale Hotel that the Institute maintains its core objective of producing competent professional accountants and accounting technicians.
He urged graduandsto demonstrate professional knowledge, skills, values, ethics, and attitudes in the field as articulated by the accountancy profession.
To the employers, he urged them to make use of the new graduates and offer them employment. He described the graduates as fresh and eager to contribute to “our economic development”.
