President Museveni finally announced his long-awaited cabinet, in which he created new Departments of Government (Ministries). Some of the old guard were dropped. These included mainly those who’d lost the elections such as Maj. Gen Jim Muhwezi and Jessica Alupo.
The new cabinet sees first lady, Janet Museveni heading the Education ministry while the outspoken Betty Kamya takes over Kampala. It is on this note that we seek your views on Museveni’s appointments. Will they perform? Will they deliver on what he’s emphasized in his State of Nation Address? Or is it more of the same old guard?
