Muslim Faithful Walk Out On Museveni Speech

Dozens of Muslims at Masaka Central Mosque walked out of prayers as President Museveni delivered his speech. The Muslims claimed that the Eid prayers had been turned into a political campaign. In protest of the political speeches, sections of Muslims chose to abandon the prayers that were meant to follow after the President’s speech. Undeterred, President Museveni went ahead to deliver his message to the Muslims wishing them a joyous celebration.
