Which living person do you most admire?

So many people have contributed to who I am it’s hard to pick on a specific person.

What is your greatest extravagance?

I grew up seeing nice things but I couldn’t afford them but now if I see a nice unique shoe or TV I will buy them.

What is your current state of mind?

I am anxious to see how this year ends.

What do you consider the most overrated virtue?

Society values politics a lot and even important things are politicised. A lot of focus is put on politics even in the media when health facilities and the education system are dying.

On what occasion do you lie?

I lie when I make appointments and don’t fulfill them.

What do you most dislike about your appearance?

I used to get a lot of problems in school because of my bow-leggedness

Which living person do you most despise?

I despise people who get drunk and lose themselves.

What is the quality you most like in a man?

A man should be respectful especially to women

What is the quality you most like in a woman?

A woman should be complementary to a man such that they are able to build up their future together and not a woman who they build a future for.

What or who is the greatest love of your life?

My daughter is my greatest love.

When and where were you happiest?

I was happiest when I graduated in 2014 with a Bachelors Degree in Community Psychology. It wasn’t easy as I paid my own fees throughout.

Which talent would you most like to have?

If I had a talent to sing, I would sing. I tried it, I even did music at O’ level thinking that would help but it didn’t work out.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

I wish I could spare sometime for myself. I focus so much on work that sometimes I hurt people who care about me when I can’t create time for them.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?

Making Reach A Hand sustainable and successful

If you were to die and come back as a person or a thing, what would it be?

I want to come back as a person who makes miracles like Jesus did.

Where would you most like to live?

My home village Katereza in Mbarara

I want to build a modern home there to prepare for my old age.

What is your most treasured possession?

Love is my greatest possession.

What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?

Living in abject poverty that you can’t afford a meal a day.

What is your favorite occupation?

Social entrepreneurship

What is your most marked characteristic?

People say I am hard working.

What do you most value in your friends?

I value their loyalty .

Who are your favorite writers?

Zig Ziglar, an American author and motivational speaker. My favorite of his books is ‘See you at the top’.

Who is your hero of fiction?

Hugh Jackman. I like his aggressiveness that I’ve watched most of the movies he has featured in. I even follow him on instagram.

Which historical figure do you most identify with?

Men like Winston Churchhill and Ignatius Musazi had great mobilisation skills. When I read their stories I get inspired.

Who are your heroes in real life?

My sister, I call her mum because she never gave up on me even in the hardest of times. My guardian father;  MaJ. Rubaramira Ruranga.

What is it that you most dislike?

I dislike pretenders.

What is your greatest regret?

I regret that I grew up without knowing my mother. People treasure their mothers so much. My father died in 2010 at 95 years. If I had money that time I would have taken him to Kenya because he didn’t receive the best treatment here.

How would you like to die?

I want a peaceful death. I want to leave a proper legacy that my children will be proud of.

What is your motto?

Never let yourself depend on the world, let the world depend on you.
