Multichoice, the South-Africa-based digital broadcasting company has today (Jan.23) announced that applications for the eighth season of Big Brother Africa, the continent’s biggest reality television show are now open.
The winner of this year’s show stands to win up to US $ 300,000.
Entries are officially open till the 14th of February, 2013 to anyone over 21 years from the following countries; Angola, Botswana, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Namibia and Nigeria. Other countries include; Sierra Leone, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
Biola Alabi, the M-Net Africa managing director revealed that the new season will have a twist that millions across Africa will love.
Tina Wamala, the Multichoice Uganda publicist confirmed the development to The Independent. She said prospective applicants can get more details of the application process by logging onto: www.africamagictv.com/bigbrother, adding that hard copies of the application forms should be in Kampala by Feb.1.
The new season kicks off in May.
