The office of the President says the celebrations of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) day will no longer take place in January 26 but on 30.
In a press release signed by T. Kinalwa the Secretary, office of the president, never indicated any reason pertaining the postponement of the date, however, it states that, “The venue remains the same that is in Kasese district.”
The office the president therefore requests the people in Kasese and the entire Rwenzori region to make necessary adjustments.
No details were given on whether Jan. 30 will be considered a public holiday.
