Kampala, Uganda | THE INDEPENDENT | Former Press Secretary to the President Onapito Ekomoloit,58 will be buried according to his will, on November 30. The former MP and Board Chairman of Nile Breweries Ltd died last week.
The National Organizing Committee (NOC) Chaired by Prof Francis Omaswa and deputized by Captain Mike Mukula and Mary Karoro Okurut confirmed the date this evening. Government has accorded official funeral to the Hon Onapito Ekomoloit.
The body remains kept at Mulago National Referral Hospital for Proper Management.
“In consultation with the family, burial will take place on Saturday the 30th day November 2024. This is to allow the construction of the TOMB in accordance with the wishes of the late Onapito Ekomoloit,” the NOC said in a statement.
