The swearing in ceremonies for the 10th Uganda Parliament concluded today. Out of 427 MPs scheduled to swear, 426 were sworn in. Margaret Mugisa Muhanga MP Burahya County is the only MP who did not turn up.
The first session is set for Wednesday and President Yoweri Museveni is expected to attend.

In two days, 298 Members of Parliament (MPs) have been sworn. The remaining 129 MPS will swear in on Wednesday, marking the end of the 3 day ceremony.
The swearing in ceremony at Parliament buildings was again colorful in all aspects – the dressing, the accompanying music and the character of MPs lined up.
