The added inflow of travelers into Rwanda, to a large part for conference tourism and MICE events, is now opening up investment opportunities across the country and especially along the tourism zone along Lake Kivu.
Two new hotels in Kigali, the Radisson Blu Hotel and Conference Centre and the Marriott Kigali are due to be joined in 2017 by a Ramada, a Sheraton and other hotels under construction.
This all goes hand in hand with the ongoing growth of national airline RwandAir, which will in a few weeks take delivery of their 10th and 11th aircraft, a brand new Boeing B737-800NG and a second Airbus A330, the larger -300 variant, which will help open up new routes not just in Africa but for the first time also to India and beyond.
