Kampala Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago has had his way with his first proposal as he chaired a first session of newly elected leaders of Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) on Thursday.
“I have made consultations. All of you are capable and qualified, but I have to choose one,” Lukwago said as he nominated Sarah Kanyike.
His nomination of the Makindye DP Councillor was overwhelmingly endorsed as Lukwago set the agenda for a new era in the city. She was immediately sworn in at City Hall.
