Kampala, Uganda | THE INDEPENDENT | A Dyna Canter registration number UAR 241M that was carrying a group of people from a crusade at Walwanda village lost control and swerved off the road, killing six people instantly. One other person died on his way to the hospital.
Seventeen others were injured in the accident that occurred Friday evening in Walwanda village, Buvuma district. Eyewitnesses say the vehicle knocked a tree on a slope after it failed to break.
The injured were first rushed to Buvuma Health Center IV and later referred to Kawolo Hospital. By the time of filling this story the victims were not yet identified.
