Kampala, Uganda | THE INDEPENDENT | Customers of Standard Chartered Bank are experiencing new service of a full-fledged digital bank recently opened in Ntinda, a Kampala suburb.
The Bank’s Managing Director, Albert Saltson, said the new digital branch, located at the Vivo Energy Petro Service Station and fully equipped with digital machines, will among other services offer withdrawals, deposits, account opening, paying utility bills, money transfers.
Saltson said the new branch is in line with the bank’s response to new technologies that are aimed at serving the customers faster and efficiently.
