Kony, Lukwiya, Odyambo, Oyoo, Kapere, Ocan Bunia, Angola, Opio Makas, Lapanyikwara, Labongo, Lagulu and Wod Paco were on air.

Kony;

Cautioned Lukwiya who is heading to his (Kony) location to be very careful while crossing a certain road he did not mention. He warned Lukwiya to avoid ambushes on UPDF convoys as UPDF is becoming tricky and can hide their armoured vehicles around. He directed him to always send 2 to 3 soldiers to crosscheck a road he (Lukwiya) is supposed to cross before he starts crossing. He stated that if he (Kony) hears that enemy has attacked Lukwiya, he (Lukwiya) will get problems.  He was told by Oyoo that his (Oyoo) recce group reported that UPDF has pulled back from the location they had gone to.

Lukwiya reported that he moved as Kony directed passing near the foot of a certain hill heading towards a location codenamed “ATWOM BUSSINESS No. 43”. That so far he has not seen any signs of enemy.

Ocan Bunia has met with Matata Junior. He told Kapere to send the medicine in his possession through Lagoga. The medicine was prescribed by Kony for his disease.

Labongo said that he gave 16 cows and food to one Okeny and Okeny’s group has no food problem.

Lagulu’s radio has been faulty. He revealed that he has a plan of killing civilians seriously immediately he gets a communication radio for coordination. That he might cross to Labongo’ s area of operation.

Comments;

It seems Labongo who is currently in areas North-East of Kitgum is resting without any pressure from UPDF. He could have got a good safe haven.

Action taken and recommendations;

  1. 4th DOTO and concerned district offices were informed.

    UPDF deployment should cater for Labongo to destroy his confidence.

    UPDF units following Lukwiya should double their effort to catch up with him. Another force should intercept him. This would demoralise Kony further.

Kony, Lukwiya, Kapere, Abudema, Otti, Ocan Bunia, Lakony Wed-Paco, Angola, Labongo and Oyoo were all on air.

Kony instructed Otti to move far from that location and get a way of safeguarding his life by avoiding any UPDF contact. Kony commanded Acama compared to other defectors who have criticised LRA activities. He said that let UPDF waste their time when he was told that UPDF AC while welcoming Acama stated that Kony is beyond red line and negotiations for protocol are all between our government and SPAF to chase him away so they can attack him.

Otti reported that UPDF chopper raided his location hitting one of his officers plus a lady (the wife of Nangai). He said that according to the media Major Acama has been flown to Gulu airfield but did not talk bad things on LRA. He told Kony that Bigombe is still in Sudan to connect with Kony.

Lakati’s radio lacked battery and that’s why he is off air.

Labongo revealed that one of his senior soldiers is seriously sick.

Lukwiya said that he is doing well administratively. That he recced a certain location and found no sign of enemy. He revealed that the camp he recced had no food completely and there was no sign of truck trails to show that UN had taken there food.

Angola ridiculed Kapere when he (Kapere) asked him whether he had met Mwana, before he added that Mwana’s surroundings are hostile.

Abudema criticised “Major” Ayoli’s (the defector) mobilisation for LRA to return home as a waste of time. He said that (Ayoli) killed so many people and thinks that he can be forgiven by UPDF. This prompted Labongo to identify Owino as Langi. He said that killing should be at its climax.

Comments;

Kony seems to have problems of food. His question to Lukwiya on recce report of a camp is evident that he is ready to raid any camp in southern Sudan so long as there is food. We cannot rule out this to happen with SPAF’s knowledge.

If it is true that Acama does not blame LRA activities as Otti put it, then we cannot rule out individual LRA sympathisers in SPAF to have indoctrinated him with such ideas meant to rest

ore hope in the internal sympathisers that have been ashamed by “Major” Ayoli’ s criticism.

UPDF following Otti should be informed of the close gap so they can hunt him down.

Propaganda desk should study “Major” Acama’s presentations very well to see whether they could jeopardise the foundation already laid by the former defectors. Whoever is handling him should guide him on what can help the program of coming back home (DWOG PACO).

Abudema’s instructions to kill indiscriminately should be catered for.
