Kampala, Uganda | THE INDEPENDENT | Taxi operators have enhanced vigilance in the taxi parks. In some of the parks visited by our reporters, there was thorough checking of the passengers at the entrance of the new taxi park, Namirembe park, and Kisenyi park.
All passengers are required to submit their luggage to searches and if the need arises, body searches are also conducted. However, in some of the taxi parks, there were no metal detectors.
