THIS WEEK: Kanye West, Kim Kardashian visit Uganda
Kampala, Uganda | THE INDEPENDENT | American power couple; rapper Kanye West and his wife, reality television star Kim Kardashian West, caused a social media buzz when they spent a week at Chobe Safari Lodge in Murchison Falls National Park. Kanye was in Uganda to shoot a music video and rumour was rife that some Ugandan artistes could feature.
In one of the pictures from their visit, Kanye is seen draped in the Uganda flag as Kim and their children and entourage enjoy the sights and sounds of the park. Uganda Tourism Board hailed the visit of the American celebrity couple as a milestone for Uganda’s tourism.
Kanye is one of America’s leading rappers with hits like Heartless, Homecoming, Goodlife while Kim Kardashian has arguably the most popular reality television show Keeping Up With Kardashians.
