Police have advised travelers heading out of the country to take off earlier than usual as sections of the Kampala Entebbe road will be disrupted until June 1.
Several travelers, on the way to pick flights at Entebbe airport, struggled at the weekend as the road was closed off several times to ease the visits of the South Korean and Turkey presidents, and their delegations.
“Motorists heading to Entebbe International Airport are advised to plan their journeys well in time to avoid inconveniences,” said the Uganda police in a traffic alert on twitter.
There will also me disruptions on the busier Kampala-Masaka highway during the same period.
