Trial starts for Senior “Kiboko” Officers who caned Besigye supporters

NBS: Police has turned its guns on the senior officers who commanded the Kiboko squad that saw supporters of Dr. Kizza Besigye beaten for two days in a row last week. The DPC for Wandegeya Nonoka Moses and the Regional Police commander for Kampala south have been charged before the police court with unlawful exercise of Authority when they participated in the caning of Dr Kizza Besigye supporters to disperse them.
