Dar es Salaam, Tanzania | AIRSPACE AFRICA | Uganda Airlines is finalizing negotiations with Air Tanzania and Precision Air to seal interline partnerships and enhance collaboration within the region
According to aviation website Airspace Africa , the news was revealed by the Ugandan national carrier’s country manager for Tanzania, Lucy Ismail while speaking at an event to mark the airline’s second anniversary at Julius Nyerere International Airport. The event also coincided with the arrival of Uganda’s flagship Airbus A330-800NEO which is being showcased to customers across the Uganda Airlines network.

The travel depression caused by the global pandemic has increased the appetite for airline collaboration as the industry grapples for survival, however Africa has largely seen interline agreements between African and Non-African Carriers with particularly gulf airlines moving to extend their reach across the continent.
