The parties discussed a proposed Memorandum of Understanding on Political Consultations, aimed at strengthening political dialogues between the two countries. This agreement is expected to be signed soon, reinforcing the commitment to collaboration.

The Ambassador highlighted Uganda’s strategic importance in the region and confirmed that Norwegian nationals, especially in business and energy sectors, will continue to operate in Uganda. She thanked the Ugandan government for its understanding and professional handling of the embassy’s closure.
