Kampala, Uganda | THE INDEPENDENT | Uganda National Examinations Board – UNEB has disowned the purported 2019 Primary Leaving Examination –PLE examination papers that circulated on social media over the weekend.
The fake Social Studies and Mathematics papers made rounds on social media on Sunday night. However, UNEB warned parents and teachers against being duped by unscrupulous people.
Our reporter accessed the fake papers and compared them with the papers done on Monday but none of the numbers were similar. The UNEB executive secretary, Dan N. Odong said those behind the fake papers risk arrest.
“Yesterday, candidates started writing the authentic Mathematics paper, which is different from the one being circulated on social media. Both UNEB scouts and security agencies are keeping a close eye on the examination process to ensure there are no irregularities,” said Odongo.
