The opposition party, Uganda People’s Congress (UPC) has described the current situation in the country as a sign that the ruling National Resistance Movement party is on the verge of collapse after failing to track down the theft of public funds.
Okello Lucima the UPC spokesperson said that no government can live poverty to thrive like the NRM has done and mentioned that looting is well organized.
“There is no in charge, the NRM government is on the verge of collapse, no doubt looting in Uganda is well organized and the last elections is one of them” he explained
Lucima said that the president should announce it clearly that there is no government or the nationals must come together to push the regime.
UPC said that the situation in areas like Karamoja, Northern Uganda and Luwero Triangle in the last 20 years is still begging not until there is full accountability.
Okello says that the suffering areas would have been planned for if UPC was in power because their desire is to see a peaceful region of people sharing the national resources equally.
