VIDEO: Chinese companies grilled over UNRA’s sh47.7 billion

VIDEO: Six directors of five Chinese companies contracted to construct Ugandan roads have  faced the wrath of legislators on the Parliamentary Committee on Commissions, State Authorities and State Enterprises for failing to compensate hundreds of affected Ugandans even after UNRA advanced them sh47.7 billion shillings. The Chinese directors were grilled to the extent that they turned to speaking mandarin after failing to use English in their submission to convince legislators on the committee.
