NBS: Forum for Democratic Change flag bearer in the February elections Dr Kiiza Besigye has applied for bail at the high court before Justice Masalo Musene in a case in which he is battling treason charges.
Represented by his lawyers; Ernest Kalibbala and Frederick Mpanga, Besigye made his application on grounds of his advanced age, a permanent place of aboard, having been compliant when granted bail in a previous treason case, the delayed investigations that have taken over 60days and substantive sureties.
