VIDEO: Plastic waste material will henceforth be a good source of income, if the public embraces collecting and delivering it to the right places yet to be set up by Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA).
This is after KCCA signed a memorandum of understanding with Coca Cola Beverages to collect and deliver plastic waste to recycling plants. KCCA Executive Director, Jeniffer Musisi says unlike now when a kilo of plastic waste material is going for as low as sh100, KCCA will soon be paying a minimum of sh500 per kilogram depending on the type of plastic material.
