VIDEO: Makerere University guild president held

VIDEO: Police on Thursday morning held Makerere University Guild President Roy Ssemboga together with a group of students as they attempted to march to parliament.

The group of students said they wanted to march to parliament to petition the speaker over the continued closure of the university, that has caused them “losses”.

This comes as the university enters a second week after it was indefinitely closed on the orders of President Yoweri Museveni following a lecturers strike.
