Kampala, Uganda | NTV UGANDA | Parliament has paid tribute to David Emong for winning Uganda’s first ever gold medal in the World Para Athletics Championships.
The para athlete won the fifteen hundred meters T46 final in London on July 15th to ensure that Uganda did not return from the global event empty handed.
Legislators have urged government to stop giving para athletes the short end of the stick. The August House has further demanded that government honors Among with a house, vehicle and other entitlements earmarked for top performers in sport.
