THIS WEEK: PR Institute to conduct studies in Uganda
The Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) is set to begin conducting studies in Kampala effective this September 2017, courtesy of Makini College, the accredited East African learning center for the course, after it officially launched its services at a breakfast event held at Serena Kampala on Aug.03.
According to Ann Gichuhi, CIPR Lead for Eastern Africa, CIPR qualifications are globally recognised professional qualifications which meet current demands of public relations professional. “CIPR is able to provide one with the skills, knowledge and understanding to advance their career while also gaining creditability and developing confidence in their abilities” said Gichuhi.
During the launch, there were key note presentations from amongst others Mathias Katamba, MD of Housing Finance Bank, who is a CIPR alumni, Cynthia Mpanga, PRAU President and Irene MbongeKing’uyu, a CIPR alumni working with CPF Financial Services Limited in Kenya.
