Among said the first session of the 11th Parliament started on May 24th 2021, and briefed the House on their major achievements during the course of the first year of their five-year tenure.
She revealed that in the period under review, the House conducted 100 sittings, administered 555 oaths, passed 24 bills out of which two were withdrawn while two are pending, adding that 62 Resolutions were made and two borrowings endorsed.
Further, 12 legislators were granted leave to to introduce Private Member’s Bills.THe House also paid nine tributes, and passed 40 other resolutions, adopted 33 reports, 95 question time and the Prime Minister’s time were executed, 3 oral questions, and 123 urgent questions were responded to.
According to Among, 83 Ministerial Statements and nine Statements from the Leader of Opposition – LOP were administered respectively as well as seven Statements from the Members.
